Carcar

Taste the famous lechon in Carcar. You may want to buy few kilo as your baon going to your destination. Carcar too is famous for chicharon and ampao.

Simala, Sibonga

Simala is the home of Mama Mary, being famous for a castle like shrine. Even from the national highway, this shrine can be seen with the naked eye. See our blog about the Shrine’s History.

Argao

Argao is one of cultural heritage center where you can see the preserved structures. You may want to visit the Saint Michael Archangel Church. Within the area you can see the Cuartel Building, now a Hall of Justice Bldg. In the Plaza, you can see old wells and canyon.

Argao is also home of Torta delicacy. One famous vendor is Chitang’s Torta, they are located just few blocks from the cuartel.

Boljoon

Where you can see the oldest church along the highway. An easy quick stop. Beside it is an old structure Gran Baluarte as well the a heritage Escuela Catolica. If you want, you may climb the ELI Rock where the town grand view and overlooking seaview at the top.

Oslob

Oslob is where you can see and swim with “butanding” local name or whale shark. Sumilon Island is another must stop while in Oslob. Tumalog Falls can also be enjoyed nearby.

Visit the Oslob church Nuestra Señora de la Immaculada Conception, in front of it is the wide seaview where you can also find the Ruins and the Cuartel.
